NEMRA is pleased to announce that the Class of 2016 NEMRA/Wharton Executive Development program is open for registration. The program will be held at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania November 1-3, 2016. The globally renowned Wharton faculty will conduct the program. Registration is open to all NEMRA Representative and NEMRA Manufacturer Group members.
The 3 day program will be jointly designed between the Wharton program directors and NEMRA. Elements of existing Wharton program offerings and a customized NEMRA case study will be the basis for the curriculum. The custom case will be woven throughout sessions during the program. The curriculum and case study will increase your knowledge and stimulate your thinking in all the functional areas of a business, including the following:
Strategy Development and Strategic Thinking
Marketing Analysis, Brand Positioning, and Customer Insights
Negotiation and Collaboration
Leadership and Talent Development
Who Should Attend
Anyone who wants the stimulation of a world class learning environment to help them grow their skills and thinking. Any representative firm owner or future principal who wants to invest in improving their business acumen and leadership capabilities. Any manufacturer in a Sales & Marketing leadership position who wants to grow and develop in their company. All attendees will learn from each other. The small group collaborative sessions, working on the NEMRA case, provide a unique opportunity for reps and manufacturers to better understand each other and how to go to market together more effectively.
Schedule and Logistics
Participants should plan to arrive on Monday, October 31st as the session begins on the 1st at 8:00AM. The course ends on Thursday, the 3rd at 5:00PM. Participants should plan to be in attendance for the entire course. Travel plans should be made accordingly. There will be six hours of teaching time per day. At other times there will be small group sessions to work on assignments. Lodging will be provided at the Inn of Penn on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Participants arriving by air should plan to use the Philadelphia International airport.
The cost of the program is $3900.00 and includes the following:
Program Design: Creating the customized program for NEMRA.
Tuition: Includes Wharton professors' time spent teaching the program content and integrating the learnings in the classroom Lodging, Meals and Conference Center
Facilities: Private sleeping room for 3 nights, opening night dinner with reception, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and two breaks daily. Facilities include classrooms, conference rooms, case study rooms, IT services, AV services, housekeeping, use of fitness center, use of evening lounge, and access to some University services.
Registration and Cancellation Policy
Registration is open now. Space is limited and participants will be offered a space upon receipt of deposit. We will adjust the attendee roster to provide for a good balance between reps and manufacturers. To reserve a spot please complete the attached form and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org
A deposit of $200.00 is required to hold your reservation. The balance of the tuition ($3700.00) will be due no later than October 1, 2016.
Due to the commitments NEMRA will be making to Wharton we will be unable to offer refunds for any reason. We will create a waiting list and attempt to find a replacement if you cannot attend for some reason. If we are unable to secure a replacement, the full tuition will be due.
