The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association Educational Scholarship Foundation was established to reward the academic excellence of the sons and daughters of NEMRA members and their employees.

The Foundation was founded in 1985, through a generous bequest of the late Donald Egan of the Daniel Woodhead Company. That year, the Foundation awarded its first three scholarships. Since then, the fund has grown considerably. Due to the generous contributions from our membership, and industry friends, the NEMRA Educational Scholarship Foundation currently awards 18 scholarships annually!

The scholarships are awarded based on academic record, as well as participation in school and community activities, work experience, and unusual personal or family circumstances*. With the ever rising costs of education, it's critical that scholarships like these are available to help deserving students complete their education.

To be eligible to receive a scholarship, applicants must be children of members of NEMRA (or their employees) who are in good standing as of December 31, and attend, or plan to attend (full-time) an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school. Click here for an application.

Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate an interest, through club membership or a declared major, in business administration, marketing and sales, or electrical engineering-related fields. Recipients and prior year applicants are eligible to reapply in subsequent years.
