To get the answer to this question, NEMRA commissioned the Alexander Group, the leader industry leader in sales compensation, to assess current practices and make recommendations on optimizing rep compensation plans.  Starting with developing a good definition of the various selling roles within the firms, the study focused on current compensation practices (e.g., pay philosophy, pay rates, pay mix, plan types and mechanics) current pain points, and concludes with recommendations on compensation plan structures.
