Selmer, Tennessee
Last month, ABB broke ground on a $100 million, 320,000 sq. ft. facility in Selmer, TN, to increase production capacity of essential electrical distribution equipment for large-scale industrial and technology-driven facilities by more than 50%. ABB Selmer manufactures busway and bus plug products, which help businesses simplify their power distribution, supporting seamless expansion or reconfiguration without the need for extensive rewiring.

The new plant highlights ABB’s commitment to its employees by building on the existing foundation of local expertise and adding 50 new skilled jobs, enhancing job quality, and fostering innovation. “What we’re building here isn’t just a facility—it’s a future. A future powered by innovation, strengthened by our people, and deeply rooted in this community,” said Deni Miller, Director of Business Operations for ABB Electrification and Co-Chair of the NMG Executive Committee.
