NEMRA and industry leaders urge adoption of a framework that empowers U.S. manufacturing and distribution
NEMRA announced its participation in a unified coalition of industry leaders supporting a new tariff incentive framework designed to advance the future of the electrified economy. Together with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), and the Data Center Coalition, the association is working to ensure that U.S. policy fosters innovation, growth, and competitiveness across the electrical industry.
NEMRA President and CEO Jim Johnson noted, “the framework directly supports the interests of the independent manufacturers’ representatives we serve—who are vital connectors in the electrical ecosystem.”
The proposal marks an important step in aligning industry stakeholders behind policies that strengthen the U.S. electrical supply chain and create opportunities for growth in a rapidly electrifying economy. NEMRA and its coalition partners are encouraging the Administration to adopt this framework and unlock the full potential of the industry.
