At Milbank, ongoing investments in people, processes, and places continue to drive the company forward.
In recent years, Milbank has made bold commitments to strengthen its facilities and create a safer, smarter workplace:
Automation: Milbank welcomed Martha Ann, a robotic arm built with Interactive Design Inc., to streamline subassembly, double capacity, reduce strain, and free employees for higher-value work.
Breaker Line Expansion: Breaker production transitioned to Milbank’s upgraded Gardner facility, featuring improved lighting, flooring, break areas, and new lines to support NEC 2020 growth.
Power Distribution & Controls: In Concordia, Missouri, Milbank expanded production and launched PWRvance, supported by a new automated paint line and an upcoming booth to boost powder-coat capacity.
Robotic Press Brake: In El Dorado, new robotic equipment delivers precise steel forming while allowing operators to focus on higher-value tasks.
Employee Experience & Safety: At headquarters, Milbank modernized restrooms, added a welcoming breakroom, and built an F5-rated tornado shelter with space for 275 people.
Leadership Development: The company launched a two-year servant leadership program and awarded more than $200,000 in education grants across Missouri.
New Vision Statement: Milbank’s rebranded vision, “Connecting People to Power,” is now displayed on signage, in new hire materials, in communications, and in email signatures to keep purpose front and center.
Milbank continues to evolve with its fourth generation of leaders actively shaping the future, while staying true to the values that built its foundation. Family-owned, American-made, and deeply connected to the communities it serves, Milbank remains proud of its enduring legacy and forward-looking vision.
