Waco, Texas

MGM and VanTran Transformers, a powerhouse in North America’s distribution transformer market, recently dedicated a new 430,000 sq. ft. facility in Waco, TX to meet growing demand for electrical grid equipment across data centers, commercial buildings, and industrial operations.

This expansion, driven by MGM’s acquisition of VanTran and a $30 million investment, will more than triple its workforce, from 245 to 700+ in the next five years, bringing long-term economic impact to the Waco region.

At a time when reliable, American-made infrastructure is critical to our economy, we’re proud to be part of a manufacturing community driving progress right here at home,” said MGM leadership.

Strategically located along the I-35 corridor, Waco continues to attract industry with over $5 billion in investment since 2006 and strong ties to top-tier educational institutions.

We’re proud to support members like MGM and VanTran as they build the future, locally.
