To Better Serve Customers, Champion Fiberglass Invests and Expands

Champion Fiberglass is advancing its commitment to customers through a significant facility expansion, state‑of‑the‑art digital manufacturing capabilities, and strategic workforce growth.

The company is adding fourth and fifth production lines to the Spring, Texas facility to keep pace with unprecedented demand for fiberglass conduit. The fourth line is expected to be commissioned in January 2026 and the fifth in the second quarter of 2026. These digitally enhanced lines will double production capacity.

“Across the U.S. and Canada, engineers and contractors are increasingly selecting fiberglass conduit for its strength, durability, and ease of installation, helping deliver superior project outcomes,” said Goran Haag, CEO and Founder of Champion Fiberglass. “Serving industries from transportation and data centers to utilities, wastewater treatment, and chemical processing plants, fiberglass conduit consistently provides cost advantages over PVC, PVC‑coated steel, and traditional steel conduit. This expansion positions us to meet rising demand with greater speed and scale.”

Champion Fiberglass has made substantial capital investments over the past several years to strengthen manufacturing efficiencies and increase flexibility and capacity. In 2023, the company added a new router that streamlines production and enables in‑house customization, reducing reliance on overseas outsourcing. Additional equipment upgrades include a robotic gasket machine, Laguna Swift Router, plasma cutter, CNC milling machine, and four new lathes. These advancements empower the company to deliver tailored solutions, shorten lead times, and better serve customers.

Environmental responsibility remains a significant focus. Recent investments in water filtration and solid waste reduction systems are minimizing environmental impact while further improving production efficiency, allowing the company to pass savings and sustainability benefits on to its customers.

Champion Fiberglass continues to invest in its most critical resource: people. The company has grown its engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams, while also operating an intern program that develops talent in engineering, manufacturing, and industrial distribution from universities across the U.S.

The current expansion builds on the company’s proven track record of growth. The company doubled capacity in 2020 with a new production line, which was running at full capacity within one year. Today, the campus encompasses nearly 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. Champion Fiberglass remains the only conduit manufacturer to hold ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, reinforcing its commitment to quality, environmental stewardship, and workplace safety. In addition, the company is Build America Buy America (BABA) compliant and is consistently recognized as a CompositesWorld TopShop, ranking among the top ten composite fabricators globally. Finally, Champion Fiberglass values its local community and is a frequent sponsor of sports and arts events.
