Floyd Blair (1921 – 2026)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Floyd Blair, who passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at the remarkable age of 105.
In 1989, my brother Willis and I purchased Floyd’s manufacturers’ representative business, Glenn Associates. That single acquisition became the foundation of our company. Floyd didn’t just sell us his business — he generously mentored us and guided our growth for years afterward.
His wisdom and high standards taught us to build our business on specification sales rather than “me too” price competition. That philosophy became the cornerstone of our success and remains at the heart of everything we do today. We owe a great deal of our growth and achievements to Floyd’s influence, integrity, and unwavering commitment to doing business the right way.
Floyd lived a long, full life and left a lasting legacy — not only in the business community but in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed.
Our thoughts and gratitude go out to his family and all who knew and loved him. We are truly better because Floyd Blair was part of our journey.
