Powering Growth in Nebraska
Eaton has announced an investment of over $30 million to expand its U.S. manufacturing footprint with a new 370,000-square-foot facility in the greater Omaha area. Built to meet rising demand driven by the rapid growth of AI-powered data centers, the facility will support the production of advanced medium-voltage switchgear, critical infrastructure for reliable, scalable power systems.
Expected to begin production in 2027, the new site will create more than 200 engineering, manufacturing, and production jobs while helping accelerate the delivery of modular, high-performance energy solutions. As demand for data centers continues to surge nationwide, Eaton’s expansion positions them, and their customers, to build faster, smarter, and more resilient power networks.
