NEMRA Announces Board & NMG Appointments

Two Respected Industry Leaders Will Advocate for the Independent Manufacturers’ Representative and the Manufacturer Affiliates

Carmel IN – January 21, 2022 – The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) announced the appointment of one officer to its Board of Directors and one Executive Committee Member to the NEMRA Manufacturers Group (NMG). NEMRA is a powerful voice in the electrical industry and an advocate for the independent manufacturers’ representative and the manufacturer affiliates. The NMG is an allied group of manufacturers who go to market principally with independent manufacturer’s representatives.

Effective February 7th, Jeff Casey, CPMR, Casey Sales Electric, Inc., will join NEMRA’s Board of Directors. “I am very pleased to welcome Jeff to our Board of Directors,” said Jim Johnson, President of NEMRA. “Jeff brings a wealth of industry experience and will be a tremendous asset to our Board, as we further our mission of promoting and enhancing the value of the independent representative to the electrical industry.”

Christy Tilton, VP of U.S. Professional Trade Sales, Signify, will join the NMG Executive Committee.  “Christy has been serving the industry in various sales leadership roles for the past 20 years”, said Johnson.  “She will bring a unified, collaborative voice that will further our efforts of improving communications, reducing transaction costs, adding value, and increasing opportunities for professional development.” 

“Reps and manufacturers rely on one another for growing market share and in developing channel relationships,” said Johnson. “Each of these individuals embody this understanding and bring talent, expertise and energy to their respective positions.”  



The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA), is a not-for-profit association comprised of 300+ independent sales representatives and 200+ manufacturers in the electrical industry. The association’s charter is to develop and to strengthen each company’s sales, marketing, and management skills and to promote the benefits of doing business with an independent sales representative. The association also develops and maintains programs and activities designed to help these independent businesses to conduct their business in an ethical, efficient, and productive manner.
